A Simple Change To Daily Routine That Fights Bothersome Negative Thoughts

In the study conducted, 100 adults were asked about their sleeping patterns and were given tests about persistent negative thoughts. These tests were given to see the extent to which people were worried, how much they obsessed and ruminated (having depressing thoughts constantly on their mind).

Persistent negative thoughts are also often associated with mental health problems. People experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, OCD and social anxiety can find they have little control over negative thoughts continually popping into their minds.

Whilst the study cannot tell us that better sleep causes improvements in persistent negative thoughts, clinicians frequently find that sleep helps to eradicate the negative thoughts.
