One of the ways she brought up, and really quite humorous, is that swearing can actually relieve pain especially if you attach humor to it. Now, she wouldn't recommend you go up to your boss and start swearing at them. You can, however, imagine swearing at your difficult boss to restore some positive emotions back into your mind and reduce your stress level.
