International Psychofest Conference 2015

Date: 19 Nov 2015 - 21 Nov 2015

Indonesia, Surabaya

An ASEAN Psychology Conference hosted at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Airlangga in Surabaya, Indonesia this November 19-21, 2015. Here at the Psychofest Conference, we bring people together from diverse cultural background and get them talking. Through this event, we are aiming to provide a venue for ASEAN students, scholars and practitioners in the field of psychology and other social and behavioral science to broaden their social scientific network.

The conference consists of two programmes: scientific programme and social programme. Our scientific programme includes poster and paper presentation from researchers and students to be presented to professional audience, keynote lectures with thought leaders and leading experts as speakers, and a dissertation colloquium for a select group of doctoral students of Psychology from all over Indonesia who are currently working on dissertations. Through the social programmes, participants will be able to share their merchandises and food they bring along from homes in the cultural night, explore the highlights of the city, and experience a fun and engaging session for student participants.

The Psychofest Conference recognizes the importance of culture, especially in this rapidly growing modern era. We want to celebrate the past while also looking toward the future. Hopefully, through this conference we will be able to conjure up helpful insights and defining ideas to create an impact toward the society.

The central themes of our conference is Indigenous Psychology: Globalizing the Local.
