Introduction to Restorative Practices

This workshop will provide participants with an appreciation of RP philosophy, tools
and implementation in various settings.


Learning:

• RP Processes and alignment with the school CCE Framework as well as organizational settings that provide after care services to children/youth

• Build and Enhance Positive Relationship within the community (school & student care settings), better staff student and peer Relationships

• Growth Mindset & RP

• Expose children and adolescents to positive values, beliefs, social justices, fairness and responsibility to create a positive and caring community


WORKSHOP OUTLINE

• The various tools in RP Proactive and Reactive

• How relationships can be enhanced using RP

• How to incorporate RP and apply it to build Social Emotional Learning (SEL)competencies in children and adolescents

• Use of Visual resources to support the delivery of RP conferencing
