Autism, a different ability!

"I might not be same as everyone around, but I am unique the way I am. I might be not be able to focus on things in my surroundings, I might be having difficulty in studies but I am intelligent. I might not be viewing the world as you do, but I have my own observations and they are sometimes mysterious! But I am who I am."

Autism is a developmental disorder characterized by difficulties with social interaction and communication, and by restricted and repetitive behavior. It's a lifelong developmental disability that affects how a person communicates with and relates to another person. It affects people in different ways. Some can't speak or learn. Their behavior may seem strange; they may avoid other people; they may pace and move their bodies in unusual ways, like flapping their hands. They may repeat lines from TV shows or movies.

The autistic people are not broken, damaged or victims. Their life's not tragic, nor they are the burdens. But the way the society treats them, is traumatizing.

Autism Awareness begins when you accept that they are just special in their own way. They need to be loved, owned and accepted the way they are.
