Love Even Though It Will End Anyway

Published on March 12, 2020

When I was younger, I didn’t like endings – play time, be a movie, book, drama series (30+ episodes). I would cry at the end of TV shows because it was so good and I enjoyed it so much – why did it have to end? Later as I grew older and understood that everything had to have an end, I would grief what is to come way before it was going to happen!

When I attended my first week-long sexuality training more than 10 years ago, I got so close to the group in so short a time that I cried uncontrollable and for a long time at the parting. In fact, I was amazed how others didn’t feel to the intensity I did after the processes we went through.

It was so emotionally heart wrenching for me that over time, I would psych myself up for the reality of partings before I even met people involved in such intense process by not allowing myself to get too close to the entire group but only selective people. We’re going to be at opposite ends of the world anyway; keep to the learning; and move right on, I would tell myself.

Because I feel so deeply, I was afraid to let people into my heart for fear of getting sad/ hurt. Over time, I realised I was short-changing myself and the world by not letting people into my heart, and loving them the way they deserve. I’ve learned many emotional releasing techniques over the time and they have supported me to let go of overwhelm, and negative emotions.

Since I can heal myself, and since I let go of whatever comes (good or “bad”), I do not need to be or stay afraid – instead I can just love. This is why I created my free online program Clean & Clear to support you in your own healing journey. Get it here. You can always unsubscribe at any point.
