Restorative Practices (RP) promotes positive relationships in a school environment. The practice builds healthy communities, increases social capital, decreases antisocial behavior, repairs harm and restores relationships.
Participants will be guided through an examination of how RP promotes moral development, positive brain chemistry, oral language competencies and social regulation through Positive Education and Positive Psychology. Further, the latest research on neuroscience in the area of life span development, neurogenesis and biological and social management of our emotions will be explored.

MR. DAVID VINEGRAD - PRINCIPAL TRAINER
Mr Vinegard is a recognized world leader in the development of Restorative Practices. His
extensive experience as a classroom teacher, counselor and trainer in various schools around
the world including Japan, Brazil, Singapore and Australia has led him to be an
internationally acclaimed and highly sought after RP Trainer. David has expanded the
application of RP to tackle cyber-bullying and problems arising from social networking across
a diverse range of school communities. He contribution also includes aligning RP and
International Baccalaureate® (IB) curriculum.
