Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Training for Clinicians

This live online CPD program will introduce you to current trauma theory and invitational language, and support you to facilitate movement, breath practices and yoga postures that are trauma-aware and trauma-sensitive.

Contents and practices are selected to be relevant for mental health professionals working with clients with traumatic stress in a psychotherapy setting.

This 20-hour workshop is part of the only Trauma-Sensitive Yoga training accredited by the Justice Resource Institute (JRI) Center for Trauma & Embodiment, and its director David Emerson.

You will learn the core concepts and applications of this evidence-based yoga program developed for adults and youth affected by PTSD, developmental or complex trauma, dissociative disorders, and other related emotional and behavioural difficulties.

This program will be facilitated by Kristen Pringle. Kristen is a senior Mental Health Clinician, Occupational Therapist, University Supervisor, Yoga Therapist (IAYT) & one of only three licensed Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TC-TSY) trainers and certification supervisors in Australasia.

Program fees are $300-400.
