In August 2019, Colourfully welcomes to Singapore two art therapists leading pioneering work and research in trauma healing: Cornelia Elbrecht and Liz Antcliff. Cornelia and Liz will come from Melbourne to facilitate a two-day introduction workshop to Clay Field Therapy - for the first time in Asia.
Clay Field Therapy is particularly useful for working with children and adults who have experienced developmental setbacks and trauma, and currently practiced by over 500 Clay Field Therapists in Europe. It is a sensorimotor, body-focused and trauma-informed therapy art therapy approach. It A powerful tactile medium, it can evoke, structure and transform an individual's felt experience and biography.
This introduction workshop is open to art therapists, as well as all other mental health professionals keen to discover this modality. Complete training to become a certified Clay Field Therapy practitioner will be offered by Colourfully and the Institute for Sensorimotor Art Therapy in Singapore in 2020 & 2021. To benefit from early bird rates for this workshop, you may register before 30/04.
