Anxiety & Art Therapy

Date: 17 Feb 2017

Singapore

Research suggests that people with certain personality traits are more likely to have anxiety. For example, children who are perfectionists, easily flustered, timid, lack self-esteem or want to control everything, sometimes develop anxiety during childhood, adolescence or as adults. An anxiety condition like most conditions is caused by a combination of things such as personality factors, difficult life experiences and physical health. Having an anxiety condition not managed can have far reaching impact on a client's life.

This workshop provides innovative nonverbal skills for working with the management and transformation of anxiety. These sequences of intervention will be drawn from Colour, Sand and Drama Artistic therapies.
