Compassion is the essence of Mindfulness and the bedrock of emotional healing.

Mindful Self-Compassion is an outstanding workshop. This program consist of didactic and experiential training exercises in mindfulness and self-compassion, to improve professional skills and personal lives.

In this workshop you will be presented with evidence-based strategies to manage stress, anxiety, depression, pain and other conditions but as well you will be introduced to micro self-care practices. The aim of the workshops is two-fold: firstly to enhanced clinical skills and secondly, to apply the self-care practices so that at the end of the workshop you feel refreshed and revitalised.

The applications of mindfulness and self-compassion is revolutionalising mental health. Mindfulness allows to stand back, to see what is, to pause and choose again, to re-wire the brain. Self-Compassion is about being present with connection and warmth during times of pain and struggles. When we combine mindfulness and self-compassion, we change how we relate to ourselves and our difficulites in a most profound way to faciliate change and healing.

During the program you will be introduced to over 25 practical strategies and simple tools to promote emotional strength, resilience, flexibility, acceptance and positive motivation that you can practice in your daily life and teach your clients. MSC is learning to ease difficult emotions, care for others compassionately and be more fully ourselves in our roles.

At the end of the program you will be able to:

• Practice mindfulness and self-compassion in daily life

• Understand the science of self-compassion and well-being

• Handle difficult emotions with greater ease, acceptance and resilience

• Motivate yourself and others with understanding and kindness

• Transform challenging relationships, old and new

• Manage compassion fatigue

• Practice the art of savoring and self-appreciation

• Teach simple mindfulness and self-compassion practices to clients, patients and students
