Sex, Gender and the Future of Relationships

The aim of this very special conference gathering is to share information about research and practice issues and initiatives related to sex, gender and the future of relationships. This theme may encompass topics such as adolescent development, parenting teenagers, sexualisation, pornography and cybersafety, respectful relationships, sexual orientation and gender identity, safe schools and promoting pro-social behaviour.

Learning outcomes

- At the conclusion of this activity, participants will have:

- Learned about research issues in relation to working with adults, adolescents and children, especially in relation to the issues of gender, sexuality and the future of relationships.

- Learned about practice issues in relation to working with adults, adolescents and children, especially in relation to the issues of gender, sexuality and the future of relationships.

- Become informed about new initiatives that relate to psychological work with individuals, families and young people in the areas of sexuality, gender and relationships.

- Participated in learning and practice sessions from as wide an array of presenters as possible on topics such as, but not limited to adolescent development, parenting teenagers, sexualisation, pornography and cyber safety, respectful relationships, family violence, sexual orientation and gender identity, safer schools and the promotion of pro-social behaviour.
