This Symposium is a key milestone for SAC that aims to showcase and contribute to the future landscape of the counselling profession in Singapore. This two-day event will be a gathering of 500-600 mental health professionals from Singapore and the region, coming together to learn about the best practices in effective therapeutic models, research and evidence informed practice, in the interest of enhancing quality client care.
In addition to our target audience of professionals, academics and students of mental health care and social services, SAC hopes to engage the 5 major government agencies engaged in providing preventative, treatment and post-treatment support for mental health and well-being: Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Social and Family Development, Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Defence.
