SOCH, a registered NGO is based in Gurgaon, India and is working for children with needs. SOCH would be organizing international Certification program in Sensory Integration. The USC Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy and Western Psychological Services will issue certificates for the course verifying participation.
The "Perspective" course provides both an overview of sensory integration and in-depth information on its theoretical foundations, basic science supporting the theory, and implications for practice. It examines the functional contributions of individual sensory systems, praxis, and their impact on everyday activities. This information is used to identify deviations from typical sensory integration and praxis abilities, and to provide insight into methods used in sensory integration intervention.
Participants
Course 1 is open to all who wish to attend and is a prerequisite for all other courses.
Required Materials:
Each participant must have access to reliable neuroanatomy references during the course.
