Annabelle Psychology is excited to share with you a series of Schema Therapy workshops organised by Annabelle Psychology and conducted by Dr Rita Younan.

Dr Rita Younan is the only group accredited supervisor-trainer in the Southern Hemisphere to run this training. Those that attend accrue 3 hours of Individual Supervision that counts towards certification in Individual Schema Therapy OR is the fourth day of the basics for those pursuing certification in Group Schema Therapy. Dr Younan has assisted Joan Farrell and Ida Shaw in facilitating this training and has been supervised directly by Joan and Ida for over 10 years.

This series of workshops aim to

  1. ​Facilitate schema therapists’ understanding of their own schemas and modes through guided self-therapy.
  2. Provide an introduction to the theory & techniques typical of Individual & Group Schema Therapy with an emphasis on Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD).
  3. Demonstrate the techniques and skills used in schema therapy on Chronic Axis 1 Disorders.
  4. Facilitate detailed discussions and to develop an advanced understanding of the application of schema therapy in session.

Aimed at professionals and post-graduate students, this 2-day Masterclass aims to impart crucial. Please note that participants should possess sound working knowledge of Schema Therapy & the Mode Model.
